Every day I’m trying to be grateful for my portion and how God is moving in my life now and not other people’s. Taking time to be happy for people and their life events and not forgetting to thank God for what’s He’s doing for me. We have to remember what God has for us is for us and what God has for someone else is for someone else. In a recent sermon I heard called “Giant Killers” it talked about how faith is believing and speaking God’s Word.
God’s Word says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God…” 1 Peter 2:9
The sermon also went on to say when fear talks it has no reasoning; it wants you to buy into unbelief.
“…for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
God doesn’t like when we speak negative about His promises. He has overcome the world and He can conquer our fears which are small in the grand scheme of things. I have to pause every now and again and remember the God of the universe who created the sun and the stars and the mountains can handle a pesky co-worker or carry me through a long day or whatever giants I’m facing. So right now I’m handing my fears over to God and enjoying life. Things will happen when they need to happen. Instead of waiting around for certain things to happen lets enjoy each day, let God use us, and enjoy the ride.
